The following privacy policy along with the terms and conditions summarizes the various ways that SJII-EVENTS uses the information you provide or we gather while you access or use the Website or App and our associated sites, applications and services managed by SJII-EVENTS collectively, the ‘Services’. How do we process your information?
We process your information to provide, improve, and administer our Services, communicate with you, for security and fraud prevention, and to comply with law. What Information Do We Collect?
On subscription to our Services, we collect your profile information such as name, your email address, gender, and date of birth, email address, phone number, height, weight, picture, location information, content and pictures if you post/ share the same on the App or the Website, which may be made public.

We collect and process location information when you sign up and use the Services. We do not track your device location while you are not using the App, but in order to provide App’s core Services, it is necessary for us to track your device location while you use the application. You may stop the location tracking at any point of time, in which case however, certain services of ours may be unavailable to you. Upon subscription to our Services or specific events or when you make a purchase using our Website or App, we collect your payment method and your home address ("Payment Information"). We collect any other information you provide to us, such as information you provide when you sign up for an event, fill out a form, participate in a survey or contest, communicate with us via third party social media sites, or request customer support.

When you workout or do any activity using the Services, we collect information about the workout/ activity, such as your route, your power, how long you ran, your total output and total calories burned, elevation gain and if you are using a heart rate monitor, your heart rate. We also collect information about any screen shots you take challenges and events completed.

We may collect certain health information. However, you will be required to give your express consent before we process any of your health-related information.

We collect device information including type of device, operating system. We may collect data via motion sensors in phone and camera; users will receive notification for the same. Permission for such notifications can be opted out in the notification settings.

Our Website/ App use "cookies" so that we can better serve you with customized information when you return to our Website/ App. A “cookie” is a small text file that may be used, for example, to collect information about the activity on the Website/ App. Some cookies and other tracking technologies may serve to recall information previously indicated by you. You can set your browser to notify you when you are sent a cookie, giving you the option to decide whether or not to accept it. The information we collect and analyze is used to improve our Website/ App and service to you. At all times, you may refuse all cookies by changing the necessary settings on the browser/ device to the extent permissible. We may aggregate the information you make available in connection with the Services and post it publicly. Examples of the type of information we may aggregate include information about equipment, usage, demographics, routes, and performance.

If you choose to use the Services on a wearable device, all above mentioned data uses may apply.

If SJII-EVENTS become involved in an acquisition transaction, business combination, securities offering, bankruptcy, reorganization, dissolution or other similar transaction, we may share or transfer your information in connection with such transaction.

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our Services, to personalise our Services to you and to develop new ones. We use the Information we collect to identify you, communicate with you, and track your workouts / activity, allow you to connect with and engage with other users, provide you with information relevant to you. We also use the information we collect to: (i) show you on event leader-board, facilitate contests, sweepstakes, and promotions and process and deliver entries and rewards; (ii) monitor and analyse usage, compute statistics and activities in connection with our Services; (iii) send you technical notices, updates, security alerts, and support and administrative messages and to respond to your comments, questions, and customer service requests; (iv) carry out any other purpose described to you at the time the information was collected; and (v) aggregate information for statistical purposes.

All information provided by you will be referred to as "Information".

How Long Do We Retain Your Information?
We retain Information as long as it is necessary to provide the Services to you and others, subject to any legal obligations to further retain such Information. Information associated with your account will generally be kept until it is no longer necessary to provide the Services or until your account is deleted. DO CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS HAVE SPECIFIC PRIVACY RIGHTS?

Can I Delete My Account on SJII-EVENTS?

You can delete your account, by writing to us at jos2023@sjiievents.com or After you make a deletion request, we permanently and irreversibly delete your personal data from our systems, including backups. Once deleted, your data, including your account, activities and place on leader-boards cannot be reinstated. Following your deletion request, it may take up to 7 working days to delete your personal information and system logs from our systems. Additionally, we may retain information where deletion requests are made to comply with the law and take other actions permitted by law.

Note that content you have shared with others, such as photos, or that others have copied may also remain visible after you have deleted your account or deleted specific information from your own profile. Your public profile may be displayed in search engine results until the search engine refreshes its cache.

SJII-EVENTS relies on a number of legal basis to collect, use, share, and otherwise process the information we have about you for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including:
